solid recipe. easy and tasty. preheating the pan is key to getting a nice crust on the potatoes.

These potatoes were terrific. I added cajun seasoning and garlic powder to the salt and pepper to give it a little more of a kick. I also put the dish together and let it sit a while before putting it in the oven. After 20 minutes, this was perfect. Crispy and seasoned on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. You definitely need to make sure you put the pan in the oven at 500 and get it nice and hot before you put the dish in the oven and change the temp. Will definitely make again.

After `10 min I sliced the fingerling potatoes on the diagonal because they were no where near done, I cooked them for another 20 min for a total of 30 min cooking time. Then they were great.

Barbara, really???? In the directions, the first sentence after it tells you to preheat the oven is: "Add potatoes, rosemary, sage, thyme, and garlic to a medium bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. " Then it gives baking instructions. I can't imagine how it could be clearer.

I ended up using Red Potatoes and the recipe came out fantastic. I'll definately make this recipe again. Especially since my husband keeps asking me to make it again, and again, and again...

This recipe is ok but I would rather it with baby red potatoes or something else. I just didn't like the fingerling potatoes themselves, but the recipe is good. I would have given a 5 star rating if another potato were used. I agree with others, the timing of this recipe is off. It takes about 30-45 mins for them to cook (closer to 45 mins.
Also, I am a true Cajun if that helps anyone...I know I look for recipes that other people from southern louisiana have reviewed; I trust their opinions over anyone else's since our tastes and way of cooking are completely different.
