OMG! This soup is sooooo GOOD! I had two bowls for dinner. Followed the recipe with the following changes: used homemade veggie stock instead of chicken stock, added a couple of "almost too old" chopped carrots for sweetness that I happened to have in the frig and needed to be used. I also used an immersion blender. Best thing....made it all in one pot! Less dishes to wash...lol!

Awesome! and easy as 1-2-3. The only thing I changed was I cut the curry powder down by about 1/2 teaspoon and added some ground saffron that I purchased in the Caribbean this past November. I made it to take to work this week, but I can't stop going to the pot to taste it. I'm going to serve a little sour cream on top. This is definitely a keeper!

Excellent!!! I made this soup using vegetable broth as I eat mostly vegetarian. I blended it with my stick blender as I like my pea soup smooth and creamy. A recipe I will make many times in the future I am sure.

SO DELICIOUS AND SO SIMPLE! Can't believe how quick and easy this recipe was. Since I do not eat any meat products I switched out the chicken stock for sodium-free vegetable stock cubes (still added a pinch of salt and it was so yummy!

I thought this was fantastic soup. My boyfriend really love it as well. I don't have a blender but I put it in my crock pot and cooked while I was out and that gave it the creamy consistency. Thanks Alton!

Super easy to make - doesn't call for a ton of ingredients - great flavor using curry powder - i used salt-free Curry Seasoning from The Spice Hunter

Yum!
. . . But it would depend on the particular curry mixture you're using. I used the sweet curry blend from Spice House because it's not too hot-spicy for the kiddos.
Also, I used olive oil instead of butter and used a box of veggie broth and a can of coconut milk for the liquid.

It was just o.k. Maybe it was not as good because a made a good stock from Easter ham bones instead of chicken stock. I would have thought that would make it even better...
