This is a good recipie. The only drawback I found was that the cury was a bit overwhelming and the soup was a little too thick for my taste. But, it worked and it was good.

I had a poor preconceived notion of split pea soup. This recipe changed all that. Wow, try it.

Our son-in-law made this for us to enjoy with sandwiches while we watched the snow come down! The heavenly aromas filled the kitchen! This soup will be prepared often!

This is an easy and wonderful soup. I have been asked by everyone who has tried it for the recipe.

Easy to make and really delicious. Enough curry powder to be both fragrant and give it a little kick. It would be wonderful with a dollop of plain yogurt on top. I served with a loaf of Cheesy Poof (from AB's book "I'm Just Here For More Food," which is excellent in every way, and it's a wonderful accompaniment. Thanks again, Mr. B, for another terrific meal.

I tried this for the first time last night. My wife had troubles trying it as it reminded her of the exorcist. But, when we tasted it, WOW! The curry and onions added such depth of flavor. My only caution is to watch to what consistency you blend the soup. I left mine a little chunky (which may have enhanced the exorcist quality, but I think that I'll try blending it a little londer next tim.

Another hit from AB, who is the best Food Network host. Sweat the onions and garlic as directed, then dump everything in your crock pot. Cooked mine on high for 8 hours; didn't have to break out the stick blender! Delicious and easy!!

I loved the addition of the curry. The
curry blended in very well and the taste enhanced the soup.

My whole family loves split pea soup, and I've tried many, but this one is my wifes favorite ever and ranks right up at the top with the rest of the group. This is a must try, very good.
