This was very good! Love the flavor of the crushed red pepper flakes with the apples and onions! Simple-easy to make-served with Apple mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus-wonderful meal!

My husband and I loved this! I used some Golden Delicious apples that we got from a local orchard and they were perfect. I had pork chops in the freezer that weren't bone in, so I just cooked them in the skillet (about 25 min until they were done and then did the apple and onion mixture while they rested. My hubby didn't want to wait until the cider reduced all the way so even though the sauce was a little runny, the flavors were awesome. Can't wait to make this again!

Great recipe! My family was leery about the combination of onions with apples, but this dish certainly won them over. This will become a regular for our family dinners.

My husband doesn't normaly rave about a dish but this one he talked about for 2 days. The only thing I did differently was grill the chops instead of frying them. Next time I'll also add more onions we loved the combo of onions and apples. You did it again Anne! Great recipe.

I'm a big fan of Anne's recipes so I knew this was going to be good...but OMG! It was the best pork chop recipe I have ever tried. The only thing I changed was I seasoned chops with salt & cracked black pepper. I served garlic mashed potatoes with the chops & it was fantastic. YOU ROCK ANNE!

Anne you rock as usual! What a great autumnal meal! I happened to have all ingredients at home from the farmer's market (my own rosemary in a pot on my deck. I used local grass fed pork, local organic apple cider and apples, local organic onions. Served it with a salad of organic arugula and microgreens and my home made vinaigrette. Quick, easy and soooo yummy! I highly recommend!

This may be my new favorite way to eat pork chops. I love sauteed apples and onions, so it was hard to go wrong with this one. Definitely a keeper!! And in case you're interested, one serving is about 360 calories - not bad for a FN chef dish.

This was a very nice addition to our pork chop recipes. However, Anne has an aversion to cracked black pepper (she never uses it and we love it so I seasoned the chops with salt AND pepper. It was very good. Will definitely make it again.
