This recipe is delicious and so easy to make. Serve it with fresh whipped cream. I've taken it to two different parties and it's been the first dessert to go both times. Everyone asks for the recipe. It's so good I wish I could say it's mine!

Delicious! I stumped the grocery store manager with the cookies - we eventually found them in the ice cream topping section. The cookies add a great chocolate flavor and are worth the hunt! I will add more malt next time as others suggested.

For just 5 ingredients this is so delicious!! I found the Nabisco cookies at our grocery store by the fancy crackers and cookies. They also sell them on Amazon ($34 for a 6 pack. Try this recipe it wonderful fudge like chocolately goodness.

I found the chocolate wafers at local grocery store in their BAKING SECTION. Also, you can buy them on Amazon.com.

I, too, could not find the proper cookies, so I used Oreos for the crust. I also do not have a tart pan, but a glass pie plate worked fine. I used semisweet chocolate chips and chocolate flavored malt powder. Since I made this for Valentine's Day, I used my heart shaped cutters to imprint hearts on it after ity had set. It was extremely easy to make and had a nice flavor, but I'd like to try the regular malt flavor next time, as I didn't really get "malt" from the chocolate flavored malt powder.

I also made it for Valentine's day and it was delicious. Reminded me of something you'd get at a 5 star restaurant, and it's so easy to make.

I made this for Valentine's Day. My family absolutely loved it. I would double the amount of malt the next time I make the pie.

made this for valentine's dinner @ home. YUMMY! would definitely add more malted milk next time, like 1/2 cup. i didn't have an 8" quiche pan-so i used a pre-made OREO chocolate crust from the grocery store. made it even easier.

next time i might add instant espresso powder!

NOTE: chocolate wafers are sometimes in the ice cream section by chocolate sauces or in gourmet cookies (usually on the top shelf!

I'm a malt addict and this recipe hit the spot. Simple to get together and will feed a crowd. I upped the malt to about a half cup.
