    I also had trouble finding the chocolate wafers, so instead I used an Oreo crust. I substituted the malt flavor for a tablespoon of cream de menthe. You could probably make this recipe with just about any flavor you want. It was terrific and rich.

    Why dont you email nabisco and find who in your area carries them. There is nothing else out there that I know of that tastes as good for a crust.

    This recipe was so good and so easy to make. I noticed people not finding chocolate wafers, so I used oreos instead since they are a favorite of mine! It worked out great! Thanks Aida!

    I, too, found the chocolate wafers unavailable anymore. A good (and cheaper substitution is chocolate graham crackers. Works great!

    Dang, this is delicious.

    Super easy to make, too!

    I might use a bit more malt next time. I couldn't taste it that well in the tart. I'm a malt freak tho.

    Aida, I am unable to get the nabisco chocolate waffers in my city I wonder if you know where I can get them. I looked all over at Christmas time and no one carries them I used toget them a few years ago, I was led to believe that they have stopped making them
