The dough was store bought! It says right in the list of ingredients for the Pesto. Cant wait to try these!

I would like to know about the dough, too! Was it home-made or store-bought?

It's simply tons of smashed/crushed garlic, and a good EVOO.
Try to get the resulting paste to look like the Duck Butter on the show. There is no butter in Duck Butter. Just got off the phone with a mgr at the restaurant.

My husband made baked calzone this weekend and they were wonderful! He saw the recipe on the show and asked me to pull up the recipe which I did. I asked him what Duck Butter and he told me it was a mixture of oil and something but he couldn't remember and well, that just wasn't good enough for me. I wanted it to be exactly right.
Sooooo.... I Googled Duck Butter to find a recipe. I do not advise this. Evidently, it is also a term that is absolutely revolting. Paula Deen would probably have a stroke if she knew. I'm relived that I at least was aware of what this term meant in some circles before I marched into the grocery store and asked the manager if he had Duck Butter.
Maybe a sidenote on the site on how to make this would be helpful. :
We used an olive oil and herb combination that worked out just fine and next time, we'll probably add butter as well since I've seen your suggestions.

Null (who mentioned the "duck butter".. I remember during the episode the guy from Vinnie Van Go Go's saying duck butter was a mix of something like olive oil and butter with some herbs of some sort. I pulled up their website to zap them an e-mail for the exact recipe, but there's no contact info other than a local phone #.. I guess I'll have to remember to write the recipe down if I happen to catch this episode when they rerun it.. ;o
Liked this calzone.. but still love Emerils recipe more.. ;o

One key recipe is missing, the dough. I watched the episode and now checked the web site and no mention of the dough ingredients. Is it a secret?
