This was served to guests, and was well received. I am from Texas, and would never use black beans or feta cheese in a truly Mexican dish. I used pinto beans (mashed and grated Mexican blend cheese. I have used recipes I liked better.

I'm hispantic and thought the receipt was not what I grew up eating. I dont think black beans fit well with eggs. Must use and more creamy texture as refried beans (homemade. I also prefer my own salsa. That really gives this dish more flavor for a authenic taste. I also use cilantro a more flavor in this toastada. I perfer to fry or bake my corn tortillas crispy for the crunch factor. other than that it was fair.

Tasty = NO, absolutely the opposite. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone. I have never wrote a bad review for anything that I have tried but this is an exception.

I looked up this recipe after I saw Sunny talk about her favorite breakfast on The Chew. I made it for dinner and it was fabulous! Will be adding this to our breakfast for dinner nights.
