Pistachios way too overpowering. Not too flavorful overall. My garbage disposal of a husband wouldn't finish it. Poured parmesan on top to make it edible.

What a deliciously different recipe, I am so glad I tried it. Forgot to pick up pistachios but had walnuts on hand and used those instead. If you love that slightly bitter taste of broccoli rabe try this recipe.

I was really looking forward to making this recipe. It did not taste good at all. The pistachios were way to overpowering. Maybe it would be better with walnuts instead.

This was a great recipe and broccoli rabe was easy to find in my area. But I agree with some of the other reviewers on the amount of pesto needed. I used half and saved the rest of it. I also added a squirt of lemon to it to brighten it up.
