I was completely intimidated by the thought of using yeast, but this recipe took all that scare away. The pretzels were incredibly delicious. My boyfriend told me that nothing was better than Aunt Annie's pretzels and after I made this he wanted me to make another batch! The BEST recipe.

We had a "pretzel Party! All the family came over and we tripled the batch. Everyone loved them. Some even said they were the best pretzel they ever ate. I agree. And the kids like helping twist and form them. Kept them busy until they were all done. I made them in an electric mixing bowl with a dough hook. Took them off when dough all clung onto dough hook. Then used small Solo cups and filled them with all kinds of dips, mustard sauce, sugar/cinnamon mix, cheese, nacho cheese and even chocolate. Will make this a social event! Too fun!

I made a variety of pretzels: Cinnamon Sugar, Ranch, and Salted. My family devoured the batch instantly!

These pretzels are great! I didn't put salt on all of them. Instead, after they baked I dipped a few of them in the butter then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Delicious!

I have made this before and everyone loved it. My kids are huge fans of the pretzel dogs at the mall so I tried this idea, I got the lil beef smokies (mini sausages and followed the same recipe up to the point of forming the pretzels, at this point I cut the dough into small pieces and wrapped the sausages, follow the boiling and baking instructions and everyone went wild for them, try it you'll love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As with some of the other reviewers, this was my first time working with yeast, but the results were great! I don t think they will last long around the house!
