These were just the most disgusting green color!!!! I like wasabai so the taste was ok but the appearance was so offputting that I will not make these again.

I didn't make any mashed pots (LOL! but I did whip up a batch of these mashed potatoes. My kids hated them because they were too hot and I didn't like the unappetizing green color. My hubby is color blind (the poor sole but he agreed with the kids. This is one family that won't make Wasabi Mashed Potatos (or is that Potatoes? LOL again.

But that's how it's supposed to be because wasbi is Japanese green horseradish. I like the potatoes but would definitely recommend using at least twice as much wasabi, maybe more.

My whole family likes wasabi, and I'd never thought to add the taste to potatoes. Great idea!

This recipe needs way more wasabi. As it's written, you can't even taste it! If you add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup, it will make the perfect St. Patrick's Day side dish. My friends, who have been cooking and entertaining for years, always ask me to bring some to their party!
