I love this margarita! Yes it is strong, but you can dial back the liquor to meet your taste.

This was the worst recipe I have ever tried. This had way too much alcohol in it. I wasted so much money trying this recipe. Just awful.

I got lucky because my food store had fresh blood orange juice in a carton, which is very good on its own, but excellent in this cocktail. It was very refreshing and all my wine drinking friends loved it. I am going to make it again tomorrow with pomegranate juice!!

These margaritas were the hit of our 4th of July party. The only change made was they were served over ice and not blended.

I've made this drink many times and everyone always comments on how good it is. It is a potent drink, but one before dinner is a perfect cocktail. I use the recipe as is, except I like using lime juice in place of lemon because it is closer to the original margarita recipe. Its delicious with a salt rimmed glass as well.

Yes, it is "strong", but have you not mixed drinks before? If a recipe calls for more liquor than you are used to, cut back. You can add more, but can not seperate it once added!
Also, if you've ever been to the Hamptons, the ice is clinking by 3 and the richies love a strong drink!
Bravo, Ina!
Blood oragnes were beautiful.

This drink has way too much alcohol. I added a ton of orange juice and it finally came out tolerable. I guess Ina likes those strong drinks!

And my problem with Ina's margarita recipes are that she puts equal parts tequila and triple sec. I think Triple Sec should only be a supporting player in a margarita. I love the idea of using blood oranges instead of limes once in a while but I'd half the juice and triple sec in the recipe and forget the lemon juice.
