The first time I made this my family thought it was too crunchy, so I intentionally settled for the 'non-bar' version by only cooking it 15 minutes. I make a double batch by mixing wet and dry in a large bowl and use the sheet pan again for baking (with parchment paper. My son eats his share warm with a spoon. I used out-of-the-shell raw sunflower seeds, seems to be some confusion amongst reviewers as to what was intended?

I love the easy of this recipe. It is very versatile. I have substituted many different fruits and it turns out great every time! Thanks for another great recipe Alton!

After one "experimenting with the technique" batch (which was very tasty the next two were out of sight.

I'm no big fan of granola, but this is my new love! And don't throw away the pieces that flake off when you're cutting the squares. They "droppings" go great in yogurt (or ice cream....

Please supply the nutritional information with the recipe. It was given on the show , so I know it is available and would be wonderful to have with the recipe.

Much like several users said before me, these fell apart. Not sure why people would rate them so high when they don't function properly.

This was a REALLY easy recipe. So much better than storebought. Read the reviews and did someone ACTUALLY put sunflower seeds in the shell in it? OK? Did a cost analysis on the recipe and even with the dried blueberries and cherries they cost the same bar for bar as storebought.....without the preservatives and other junk. Can't wait to try all the possible variations. My family LOVES them.
