Made these for a climbing trip and my friends and I loved them. I only packed 4 squares per person thinking it'd be enough for a 2 day trip and they were almost all gone just during the car ride there! There were some crumbles but for the most part, they stayed in bar form and it's not like I don't get some crumbs when eating my storebought granola bars. Definitely let it cool all the way before cutting. I'll definitely make these again, maybe use more sunflower seeds than almonds since I love sunflower seeds and they are cheaper.

Very Good, and it was sweeter than I thought it would be.I would much rather eat this than what comes in a box.It may cost a little more buying the dried fruits, but the end result you know exactly what you are eating and that is a good feeling.

Perfect for excercise, there is nothing bought as low in fat and salt as this with lots of energy.

I had sub the almonds with crushed peanuts because my husband is allergic to tree nuts. OMG, are these the best granola bars in the world. My kids went WILD over them over breakfast. Very "inexpensive" snack (as in tons of fuel for relatively low number of calories and fat for me. It carried me through a 3-mile afternoon run and I didn't feel the urge to snack afterwards. And best of all, they are SCRUMPTIOUS.

Recipe is flexible to add any dried fruits and nuts. Tasted similar to caramel popcorn.

This was a bit of a disappointment. It's plenty tasty, but it just wouldn't hold together. I waited 3 hours to cut the bars after baking, and they just crumbled.

Loved it. Toasting everything first definitely brings out the flavors (and is an improvement from other recipes I've seen. I'll be making these again soon. I'm hoping it is just as good with other combinations (peanut butter, raisins, etc..
