The first batch I made didn't stick together, but I think I removed it from the pan before it was "completely" cooled. The second batch turned out 100% better. I let it cool completely in the pan, it was definitely the difference. Now I don't have to buy those store bought granola bars for my husbands lunch anymore! Thanks!

When I tried to cut them into the recommended amount of bars most of them failed to make bars and just became granola. Taste was OK.

My first attmept produced more granola than bars. I solved the problem by putting the oatmeal and nuts in the food processor for about 10 seconds. The finer consistency produces a more dense bar - but it does stay in bar form. Delicious recipe - great for fuel on bike rides.

We made this on a whim...Wow, is it easy and so tasty! My recommendation is to make 2 batches...one to freeze or keep for later and one for everyone who can't stop eating them as soon as they are cool!

These bars are wonderful - the best I've ever had or made. I put dates and cherries for the dried fruit and found them absolutely "The Best".

The bars stay together if you let them cool completely in the fridge. I made the mistake of not letting them cool on my second batch and they did fall apart. Now I wait. I also tried using different nuts, and my kids love it. I used sunflower seeds without the shells. All in all, the bars are fantastic.
