If you like goat cheese, you'll love this recipe. VERY easy to make. My husband loved it.

I was so very pleased with this side dish that even my guests asked for the recipe. Super easy to make, in fact, I made this the night before and baked it for dinner the next day. I did add more potatoes, garlic, and goat cheese to "beef" up the portions.

    It's a definite WINNER!

Thank You Chef Emeril for an Easy Recipe with just five or so ingredients. As though You heard my requests.Cooking/Baking is daunting enough w/o 16 ingredients or more! This is simple and tastes great with Any Protein...

Very good potatoes. I added more garlic and goat cheese. Definitely worth it.

Holy crap, these are the best potatoes ever, and they are super easy if you have a slicing attachment for a food processor or a mandolin to slice the potatoes uniformly. You can definitely add more goat cheese than the recipe calls for, though. I also have tried adding herbes de provence to the salt and pepper on each layer, and it adds a really nice flavor.

I am a fan of goat cheese so when I came across this recipe I had to try it. Turned out well except it was a little bland. Next time I make this dish, will definitely use more seasonings and more goat cheese.

I found this version of a potato gratin very refreshing. Using the smoked round of goat cheese from The Goat Lady Dairy gave the dish a little tang along with slightly smoked flavor. I definitely will make this again.
