    The texture was creepy!

This is absolutely horrible. The risotto is a horrible, gloppy mess. I wouldn't serve this to my dog. It's pretty easy to make risotto the right way, so don't bother with the crock pot!

The use of a crockpot in this recipe is ridiculous. It takes twice as much effort that way. The risotto is salty and has the texture of wet concrete. It doesn't get creamy in the crockpot.

I thought this was going to be a fabulous recipe. But it just didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I could have done something wrong but I think I followed the recipe exactly. The rice did not cook all of the way through and it wasn't creamy.

This is not rissoto in my book. It was gummy and tasted like canned soup. Won't make it again.
The recipe made enough for a large army and I threw away about 4 pounds of it. What a waste.

We found the wine flavor to be too strong. Perhaps it would have been better with less wine and more vegetable broth/stock. The texture was a bit off, as well, but that could have been due to the fact that I was using this particular crockpot for the first time. Not terrible, just not something I'd recommend to others...

This didn't have the taste of real risotto and was nowhere close in texture. Risotto only takes 20 minutes to cook on the stove top, yet this recipe makes you tend to the crockpot for 2 hours!!! That was a real drag!!! I won't make this again.

I found this too starchy! Sounded good & easy but it wasn't very good. When she makes things they look good but when you make them it's not as good as how she makes it even though you do it exactly as she does.

Made this last night and it was not bad. I made a couple of changes, used chix stock instead of veggie stock and swapped out the golden mushroom soup for crm of mushroom, but it still turned out pretty good. Would even make this again.
