This was "DELISH" with a kickkkk.....hip to hip...my family loved it. I used canned salmon because I didn't have shrimp and it was just as good. The panko makes a crunchy crust. I added a little cilantro to the peach relish which makes a great mexican salsa with tortilla chips too.

Used regular bread crumbs and raw shrimp, then baked the cakes in individual loaf pans instead of frying. Really excellent recipe.

Have eaten at Neely's BBQ in Nashville several times and the food is amazing there, too.

I wish I could watch the show regularly but I find the couple's double entendres and high-jinks really annoying, and I find Gina the more annoying of the two.

This past weekend, my mother and I threw a bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law. I made these using the recipe exactly and with the peach relish. EVERYONE loved them and asked how I made them. Excellent for parties.

This is my first attempt to cook and follow a recipe. I am just so excited as i'm inviting alot of family over to enjoy this....and better yet....the Neeley's make me look like I can cook--and not just cook, but cook well!

If you're new to the kitchen, try this recipe. Its easy, smells so great, and well, I can't wait to taste this creation tomorrow!

Sorry about the 4 stars, but i have not made this as of yet,and had to give it a rating.

I plan on trying this recipe this weekend.Several said they used raw shrimp, my question is...how long to cook it if i use raw shrimp? Also,on the show, the recipe made 6 huge cakes and one small,is this right? Is it possible to make them smaller,or even into shrimp balls?

My family and I really didn't like this recipie. We all felt that it lacked flavor and didn't taste anything like shrimp. I think it might have been better if the shrimp were raw, as opposed to already cooked shrimp. The relish, however was good.

It was the greatest. I enjoyed making this dish and the outcome was perfect, just what I wanted. Everyone thought this dish was store bought.
