I love hot wings--the hotter, the better!....not so my loved ones. I made these wings today and they were the hit of the event! However, I doubled the sauce and used a total of 4T Frank's (which has way less bite then my staple Tabasco. I set some sauce aside and stirred in a good amount of honey and used as a glaze. The flavor was great and was enjoyed by everyone--the heat weenies and the heat lovers alike--because the flavor was so good. I made my own Ranch, but store-bought would be wonderful, as well! Thanks Sandy!

This my absolute favorite wing recipe! If you really like it hot, try subing Sirachi sauce for the hot sauce...flaming! The only problem is they really taste best grilled, which is hard to due in STL in the dead of winter : -

The first one you eat has alot of flavor and is something new, but they start to lose there flavor, or dont taste as good the more you eat, my husband likes them and i have made them twice.

I made these using the HOT taco seasoning they went really fast. My sister made them but didn't use the HOT taco seasoning and they came out bland.
Trying them on chicken breast tenders today( lower fat.

These are some of the best wings I've ever had! I made them for the first time at a Chicago Bears tailgate party. A huge hit!

I've read the other reviewers before making this recipe. Luckily, like some reviewers said to add more hot sauce if you want it to be more spicy and I did. Also, I used the Taco Bells' hot and spicy taco sauce and it came out wonderful. My family just loves it. I also sprinkle some salts to the wings and marinade it about four hours. So, be a little bit more creative. It will be great. I am grateful to find Sandra Lee great recipe. I definitely will try it again!
