I made this salad and it was a huge hit. Into the salad, I put a combination of Hidden Valley Garden Veggie, Bacon, and Italian Ranch dressing (about 2 bottles worth total. Everyone loved it. I don't know how anyone thought the herbs were overpowering. I could barely taste them.

Made the salad very unpleasant. I hate to throw away food.

It was a unanimous decision from my family, inlcuding my teenage daughter who lives on salads. This one is terrible. The herbs give it a nasty bitter taste.

This was excellent. I did mix Boston lettuce with the herbs. So good on a summer day.

That much herb does not belong in a salad. WAY too heavy on the herbs. It was a terrible, awful salad.

To make this palatable to my family we had to consider arugula, and romaine lettuce as herbs. Replacing 3/4 of the basil/parsley/tarragon mix with lettuce made this much more pleasant. The other possibility is to make it as written but serve 10 people, using much less herbs per serving. I don't like mixing basil with tarragon so I only used basil. Next time I'll use parsley and maybe a sprinkle of thyme.

There were far too many herbs in this salad. I wish I had read the reviews before trying this. I'll stick to ranch dressing on my lettuce from now on.

This salad was such a nice change of pace. For those of you who thought it was too herby, you can just use less on your lettuce. I love herbs so I used a lot, but the good thing about this is you can easily adjust the individual servings for individual tastes.
