Kosher salt, and table salt are very, very different in measurements. Kosher salt & Sea Salt, measure very differntly from table salt. To me, table salt is horrible for cooking.
This recipe was great, not your fault love2eat. Every ingredient makes a big difference.
Try it again with Kosher/Sea Salt. ENJOY........!!

I love this potato salad, its one of my favorites. I skip the buttermilk and Hellmans mayonnaise is a must. I have used other potatoes and it still comes out just as good.

Kosher salt and table salt do not measure the same! You can not substitute in even quantities!

Sooooo salty! Tooooo salty! I followed the recipe exactly. I would half the salt next time. The only thing I could have done wrong is use table salt instead of kosher salt.....maybe that was the problem. Besides the salt issue, this is a great recipe and I love Ina's cooking!

just served this to my son's Tuesday night men's golf league. 32 men of all ages gave this potato salad rave reviews, one young man told me it was the bomb, I am assuming that he really really liked it. Easy reciepe to follow, really tasty, I was worried how they would react to the dill but all enjoyed.

My sister-in-law made this for our Mother's Day lunch a few weeks ago, and it was excellent. My husband ate three helpings of it. She did add some pimento, but I think it would be just as good without it. Thank you, Ina!

Delicious! I do wish I would have boiled the potatoes a little longer than 10 minutes- They seemed just fork tender, but in the end needed another 5 to be as cooked as we like. Otherwise- The flavor combo is great! I followed the recipe exactly.

This is our favorite potato salad recipe and even takes place over my mom's which was the only potato salad we ever ate for years! Wouldn't change a thing!
