Everyone found the idea intriguing. But the surprise was too many peppers. This could have been my fault. Instead of candying my own as the recipe suggests, I found a jar of candied peppers in my grocery store and used what I thought would equal the amount of peppers called for. Tthe flavor of the cheese cake is very good, mine didn't cook quite through either in the time sugegested in the recipe. I WILL try this again but use fewer peppers and about an additional 1/2 hour or so cook time.

Very easy to prepare. I enjoyed the challenge and taste of this recipe. One thing I think I would do different next time is peel the chili pepper. By the way, red Jalapenos are difficult to find so I substituted Fresno Chilis and they were very good. With the skin on these chilis, they were tough.

I made this cheesecake for a dinner party with some friends. Everyone was very impressed. Was a bit time consuming to make but worth the effort.
