This is the first time I made fried chicken and I loved it! I made chicken and waffles and I used just the chicken tenderloins. I cut the recipe and half and it was more than enough to make a whole package of the tenderloins. I was wary of the amount of hot sauce but it gave it a really nice flavor and wasn't spicy at all. I will definitely be making this again.

So easy! No changes. My husband and kids said it was the best fried chicken ever.

I love it, sadly it taste like regular chicken when it gets cold. I did like the tip of putting the house seasoning an hour before you make it so the chicken can take in the flavor more. Definately worth re visiting.

I'm very confused by the accounts that this chicken is too salty. Are these folks dredging the chicken in the salt mixture? Because it clearly says "season with" which means to sprinkle some on the chicken. As a previous poster suggested, I used buffalo sauce as my hot sauce.

This is the best home fried chicken I have ever made. Very crispy. Perfect!

I made this a month ago and used buffalo sauce b/c I didn't have any hot sauce and tonight I made it again b/c it was such a great hit and used the hot sauce, to be honest I liked the buffalo sauce more b/c it gave it more of a kick, but this is definitely by far the best fried chicken I've made I will just use buffalo sauce from now on. It's definitely a keeper!!!

Not sure how they eat in the south but the house seasoning with all that salt gave us up here in the north high blood pressure!! We had to peel off the skin to be able to eat it.

My family and I's favorite fried chicken recipe of all time! Even my picky neighbor gobbled it down. The hot sauce is amazing in this recipe. It doesn't make it spicy, just brings out even more flavor. This is now my only fried chicken recipe I'll ever use. Love you Paula!

Really great fried chicken, easy to prepare and we tested our new deep fryer, GranPappy, from Amazon, a gift from my son, and it was absolutely delicious. I followed the recipe and the chicken was tender and juicy. Crust delcious. We love you Paula Dean!
