This time of year in Nova Scotia there is an abundance of maple sugar. I was looking for something to do with it when i came upon this recipe. It turned out AMAZING!!! It is great warm with a little vanilla whipped cream too!

These are very easy and wonderful. When I make these, everyone asks for the recipe.
Tip: Cut while warm, as I have found the tops crack when cooled.

I've made these twice; they're really easy to put together, and they taste great when they're fresh from the oven. But eat them quickly, because they dry out within a day or two!

Very very good! I am not a big fan of chocolate, so these are the perfect alternative to a brownie.

Baker beware!!! These are really hard to stop eating once you start. I made these twice and both times something just doesn't seem right with the consistency, none the less they are crowd pleasing and addictive! I took them to a party and everyone liked them and wanted the recipe. Also, I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I found an almost identical recipe on another website that listed the nutrition info. 1 serving- 17grm of fat and over 300 calories. Yikes!
