I have never eaten a veggie burger. I have never attempted to make one either. WOW!!! I loved it!! I made a Sriracha Mayo, also topped with pickles and beets. Kids even liked it too : We will definitely making this again.

These are so yummy they have become a staple at our house. Made a few changes: I add a 1/2C of finely chopped mushrooms to beans along with a few tbs of chopped cilantro. I use panko instead of breadcrumbs. Adding 2 eggs helps bind the mixture together and dredging them in panko before cooking produces a nice crunch. Along with the sauteed mushrooms I serve with a lemon basil mayo. It is scrumptious.

This was fantastic: Easy, fast, healthy, and delish! I altered the recipe slightly because some of the ingredients were not available, but it was still great (i.e. white onion not red, no shallots, chervil not parsley. I also felt like a meal without bread, so I omitted the english muffin and put the patties on a big bed of arugula. Loved it. I will definitely make this again!!!

This was SO yummy and easy to make, I whipped it up in 30 minutes. My first patty fell apart when I put it in the pan, but then I packed the rest tighter and made smaller ones and they turned out great. So I had 7 patties rather than 4 big ones. I used panko which gave the patties a very nice crispiness and instead of english muffins I used whole wheat sandwich thins (to be healthy. The mushrooms are also very tasty and VERY easy to make, I made more than the recipe called for and ate it on the side rather than in the burger. Will definitely make again.

It was ok on the taste but it fell apart in the frying pan. Also very dry. A custom made sauce would have improved this greatly.

Easy to make and tastes marvelous! I am a condiment lover and I felt there was no need for any additional toppings other than the soy sauce coated mushrooms. They are very hearty and filling as well. My meat eating boyfriend even loved them. A great staple recipe. I will be making these again and again.

I used Annie's Naturals Vegan Worcestershire Sauce. Instead of on a sandwich I ate them with a fork on top of a bed of sauteed mushrooms and raw spinach. Love!

I had to substitute sunflower seeds for the walnuts because of a nut allergy but that worked out well. I also cooked the mushrooms and added them to the burger mixture and they were very good that way too. I would suggest making them a little smaller, maybe make 6 patties insted of 4 and flatten them out more so they warm through better and stay together better. I'm going to try that next time but overall a great recipe and didn't miss the meat.
