Been making this for a few year now. Friends always comment on how good the dressing is and they eat the whole thing. Even those beets! I've done research on this oldie of a salad and have found that green beans, cauliflower, etc can substitue or be added, so I usually have something in fridge to blach and add. This is a must recipe to try.

I used to live in New Orleans and I have been to Delmonico Restaurant in New Orleans and this is just as good...no wait BETTER than what I ate there and its half the cost!

Different and delicious. Easy to prepare and we usually have all the ingredients on hand. We needed a change from our usual dinner salad and this is it. We'll make this again and again.

Great flavor - roasted garlic a bonus with crusty bread. Be sure to brown the chicken well or you'll have a very bland looking chicken.
