A good way to use kale. I make something similar with broccoli.
I cooked the onions and pepper flakes first, then added all the garlic and cooked it very slowly, for 15 minutes or so. It softens and sweetens, but doesn't burn.
For the person who claimed it was flavorless--hard to imagine anything with that much garlic being flavorless! Maybe you should try adding some grated pecorino or parm at the end.

This is a terrific pasta dish and is perfect if you need a break from meat entrees. I actually substituted some shallots and omitted some of the garlic and this was a terrific modification. Very filling and healthy! Will definitely be making this one again.

Surprisingly flavorful! I added mascarpone cheese but other than that, I followed the recipe. We really enjoyed it as a vegetarian dinner. Will definitely make this again.

Excellent flavor and very quick to make. I kept all the olive oil in the pan and threw in a zucchini along with the onion. The garlic chips added a crunchy texture and a burst of intense flavor. A keeper for sure !!!

I'm pretty surprised by the glowing reviews. We made it exactly as described and have never been so underwhelmed by a recipe. Completely lacking in flavor...just not for us.

I didn't have any of the greens, but if you put arugula in it to finish it (which has a peppery taste. It is delish... Very flavorful. You can add chicken or shrimp to it as well for those that want meat. I used parmigiano regiano shavings versus grated cheese.

Although the recipe seems simple, the flavors are awesome! This was one of the better recipes I've ever gotten off the Food Network. Highly recommend!

My entire family enjoys this dish. My kids(9 & 12 love the noodles and crispy garlic chips. My husband doesn't even ask where the meat is. I like that they're getting their greens.
