The mayo was a disgusting addition. I would not eat it like that. Thinned plain mayo? Really? At least use some yogurt or sour cream, with some flavorful addition, maybe some of the green onion and some spices. I know it is somewhat traditional in some places to add the mayo, but, yuck. Especially without the red sauce.

This doesn't even look like Patatas Bravas.

If you've been to Spain you will find that this recipe does not replicate patatas bravas at all. Patatas bravas are served with a slightly spicy red sauce over the potatoes which does consist of tomatoes and other spices.

This tasted not so good at first, but a bit better the second day. Using crushed tomatoes instead of grating your own plum tomatoes might make it a bit better and less messy. Have not tried this substitution though.....

I made this and did not think it was even remotely good. It just has alot of front heat which bites a little, and then the sugar is a little bizarre.

I think its a pretty poor recipe that doesn't give you any amounts on the seasonings. Maybe perhaps this would be a good dish if properly prepared, but how on earth would you know how to do so from this recipe?

Nigella Lawson is guilty of a similar bad recipe when I searched for roasted potatoes to try and find something nice to make after this disaster.

Tasty and really easy, this dish got good reviews at a Tapas party.
