This recipe was GREAT! We had a family dinner party and what little there was left was fought over. The flavor was great and paired perfectly with Bobby Flay's recipe for grilled corn and a cilantro lime butter. This was easy and VERY tasty!

The cilantro marinade makes the flank steak melt in your mouth. I cooked this for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 and it was a huge hit.

What a marvelous recipe. Don't limit yourself by just using the amounts of green onions, and lime juice that this recipe calls for use more, you've got to have enough to taste. Make sure you've got enough onions, olive oil, and lime juice to spoon over your slices at the end. Cut the steak across grain, thin and on a bias, and you will love this recipe. If you're where you can use chunk charcoal with real oak or hickory for seasoning, you'll be the talk of the neighborhood.

This recipe has so much flavor! The onions are a nice garnish to the steak but the flavor of the steak is amazing. I only marinated for one hour ... imagine if I had marinated over night!

I was looking for something new to do with a flank steak. I am so glad I tried this one. A couple of minor alterations: We aren't fond of cilantro so I substituted Italian parsley. I did run a jaccard lightly over both sides because I have a tough time with beef--even the tenderest cuts. I wasn't expecting much from the onions, and was amazed--don't skip them! I sliced off half and put the rest in the fridge for the next night. Slices of flank steak on a crouton from my own pugliese. A salad of romanita tomatoes, cucumber, green onion with a vinaigrette with the same lime/parsley/garlic as the original marinade. Sort of on top of the meat. Topped with some slices of avocado and it was another perfect meal! Thanks Emeril!
