Great recipe ! I used top sirloin that the meat dept. sliced very thin. I also added mushrooms to the peppers and onions and sauteed some jarred jalape?os in a skillet and people added as many as they wanted to their sandwich. I roasted a head of garlic and added that to some mayo. For the cheese, I melted fontina and provolone in the microwave ? YUM ! Definitely one to make many more times.

Fantastic recipe -- but make this one the REAL Philly way. Use white onions and cheese whiz and no peppers. It comes out ridiculously tasty.

I found this to be heavy and greasy. I shouldn't be surprised considering it has melted cheese, fried onions and fried steak. Also, the beef needed more seasoning than just salt and pepper. It just looked better when he was making it.

These sandwiches were awesome! I made them for our Super Bowl get-together....Colts Rule! I used a sirloin tip roast and the cheese was fantastic. My guests said 5 stars!
