I made these one Saturday morning when my husband was out of town. They were so good that there were none left when he came back a day later. My boys just loved them.

I can't count how many times I've made this one. And just as others have discovered, the variations are endless. Cinnamon with the cream cheese then cinnamon & sugar on top is great. I made once for a pot luck and was worried about the nuts (you never know who's allergic so I blended fresh strawberries with the cream cheese and dusted with powdered sugar. That was great too.

Don't get me wrong I love Paula, but she's not very known for healthy eating. These are one of the few desserts she makes that doesn't call for 3 sticks of butter. These are very delicious and I love the almond flavor in the creamcheese. I like to use the less fat crescent rolls. and the 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I also like to tweak the recipe sometimes and I like to put frozen berries that I cooked over low heat and sweetened with a lilttle sugar inside the crescent roll with the cream cheese to give a delicious berry finish.

The first time I tried this recipe I didn't have a brush so i dipped the swirls into the EggWhite mxture and then the Chopped Almonds. It worked pretty well

I loved these little rolls. I made them for a ladies luncheon with some of my mother's friends. I changed it up a bit and they were great. I toasted the almonds until golden brown and then crushed them up, and I added some orange zest to the cream cheese mixture, and orange extract instead of almond extract in the glaze. I served them with quiche, fresh fruit salad and bellinii's! All my mom's friends loved it!

This a great bite size cheese danish. Very easy to make. Although this recipe is awesome as is, the variations are endless. Thanks Paula this is going to be a well used recipe in my house.

Me and my sister made these all by ourselves for my dad on fathers day. my dad still had to work that day but he got to come home early which was around noon. so we made them for lunch and it was SUPER easy. But, it was still really really good. me and my sister didnt really like the taste of the almond extract so i would use vanilla instead. its ok to substitute with vanilla while using almond. i used vanilla instead of almond when making macaroons. i would say they tasted sooooo much better.

My teenage daughter and her friends prepared this in the middle of the night at a sleepover and baked them when they woke up in the morning. They loved them, even the picker eaters of the bunch. I had one as well and they were fantastic!
