Loved this recipe! Added a little extra onion, worchestishire sauce, and garlic salt to make sue that it would have enough flavor...it was sooo good!!!

I loved this. I added extra parm and some mozzerella. My husband went nuts over this. Thank you Paula! I love these easy and great recipes.

I started making this when I first saw the "Bag Lady" episode with my daughter. Her & I both loved it!! My husband was deployed to Iraq at the time., & when we tried to find it after he came home, in my recipe "notebooks" we couldn"t. When we pulled it up on-line, I made it according to the current instructions. It was not nearly as good, and even my daughter (10 by then did not like it anymore, much less my husband. After going over it again, I agree with another reviewer. The instructions and ingredients just aren't the same. By adding the Parm to the mix, and coating the top with more, it turned out better, but still just not quite "there". I will continue to look for my original recipe, and in the mean time, "doctor up" the newer one I have. Someday, I will get it back to it's origanal, if I never accomplish anything else. The original was so creamy and flavorful, I hate to think that it is lost. Especially with my daughter, (13 now, as she is a HUGE Mac & Cheese fan, and hasn't come across one she didn"t like. This one is and was a good change of pace. Oh, and did I mention CREAMY!!! Really like the super fine/thin noodles too. Oh and so CREAMY!!!

Ok heres the deal, I have been making this for about 4 years now ever since I got the recipe on the show. Somehow, and i have no idea how, the recipe I have is different from this one!! Im not sure if I wrote it down wrong either cause I thought I had looked at the recipe online before too but this time I havnt made it in awhile so I was double checking the measurements but I saw it said parmesan and i use MOZZERELLA!!

So I use mozzerella and i dont put in onion because were not big onion eaters and i just dash the worstchestire sauce in till i think its as much as we like and was LOVE it. its my comfort food!

It was all right... there really is not a lot of flavour. I put the parmesan in the pasta mix and sprinkled cheddar on top. I didn't get a lot of flavour from the worchestershire. My husband liked it a lot though (which is why I'm giving it three stars, otherwise I would give one, but I tend to like spicier and more flavourful foods.

I think the "spec" receipe is good... but I like the Parmesan mixed in and then some higher grade cheddar on top. I did not see the overly Worcestershire taste others remaked of, but I eyeballed it. It's worth the try, modify to preference :

Oh Paula I'm so sorry...I've never given you a review like this but this dish is just not good. I really think this recipe is incorrect. Like another reviewer I am getting to the point that I no longer trust the recipes on this sight. Paula, PLEASE slow down and let's get them right.

I am almost getting to where I don't trust the receipes on this site anymore, because there is no way I believe that Paula Deen would come up with anything that tastes as bad as this. I am a very good cook, but I really have never learned to "tweek" receipies...so it's important that a recipe be correct as written. If you may this to the letter, all you will taste is the worshestershire sauce...the whole mixture together tastes like blue cheese with noodles.
It's ok if you are starving, but nothing I would invest in again.

I tweaked this recipe because I know how flawed they can be on this site. I used Ramen noodles, two packages and it worked well. Use a 9X9 pan or round equivalent. For some reason, Paula's recipes are usually missing this information. It's also the case in her cookbooks. Bake for 30 minutes, not 45. Plenty of cheese along with a healthy dose of salt makes it tangy and tasty!
