You will not be disappointed in this recipe. It tasted really good. I prefer non-chocolate tiramisu as it bring out the flavors and taste of coffee and cheese the best. With chocolate based tiramisu, you run the risk of it tasting more like a chocolate cake. BTW, you can easily substitute pound cake squares or rounds for ladyfingers. Also, I skipped the egg completely.

I changed the two ladyfingers to however many fit into my serving glasses (I used 8 oz drinking glasses, it was all I had and omitted the step to drizzle syrup onto the already soaked ladyfingers. It would have been way too much. Also, a little too much whipped cream to mascarpone ratio, so would cut that down by half a cup next time. Otherwise, a yummy hit with me and my tiramisu-loving hsuband!
