The basic idea was great but did not like the cinnamon. It did not indicate what is the butter consistency; is it mixed as soft butter or melted butter. I did soft butter but think that was wrong because later I read "to pour batter over berries". Another thing, it took an hour of preparation but if you bake for one hour why cook berry mixture I will test again with changes

This has the best biscuit-y topping of any cobbler I have ever had. It's light and fluffy, yet still crisp.
The filling though, would have been better without the cinnamon and with a touch of lemon instead. The cinnamon just obscures the flavor of the blackberries and adds an unpleasant graininess.
