    why most of SL's recipes have booze in them. Even something like cherry pie calls for a liquer. What could it possibly add to the recipe that you would want or need to include it? I wonder if FN ever asked her about including booze in so many of her recipes.

    My husband and I thought this was wonderful! The only thing I did not use was the liqueor. It tasted great, was easy & I will definitely do it again!

    I, too, expected much more from this show. But the pie I got from the diner down the street was betetr than this one. I'd much rather save the time and go to the diner than bake this pie

    I made this pie to serve at Thanksgiving. The pie looked completely homemade and I couldn't believe how easy the recipe was to complete. I tripled the amount of cherry brandy (3T instead of 1Tand that added a nice flavor. I used mixed berries. One tip: make sure your berries are completely drained - you don't need the extra liquid.

    An overall good pie but a little runny even when cooled down. The second time I made it I added 2 tablespoons of instant tapioca.

    I was disappointed. I expected a lot better from this show. I can get the same results with less effort by going to my neighborhood grocery store.
