I tried this recipe thinking, it looks easy ...it was and tasted great! Everyone that tried it really enjoyed it. Don't think I'll let them know just how easy it is to make.

Have made this twice so far and its been a hit. Needs to cook little longer than the recipe states to crisp the top. Used chambord liquor and splenda instead of sugar. Also used frozen strawberries the second time with the canned cherries and it was very tasty. Will try again with blueberries.

I made this pie but with strawberry pie filling. I used frozen blackberries, black cherries, and raspberries. I put about 6 oz. of each of those which makes 18 oz. of frozen fruit but her recipe calls for 12 oz. I would go with 12 oz. next time because I did loose some sweetness. If you like a really tangy, tart pie go with 18 oz; if you like a really sweet pie go with alittle less. (pie filling is sweet! i'll leave out the frozen black cherries next time because they were quite tart. Otherwise, very yummy pie and extremely easy!
