This is a very traditional and delicious turkey soup. I read many reviews about how thick the soup became once noodles were added. A very good "cure" for this problem is to precook the noodles separately. They won't soak up the broth once added to the soup so you don't have to add extra liquid when you may prefer not to! Happy cooking!

Very good soup recipe.....I used homemade turkey stock and cubed left over turkey. Only change I made was to add a finely chopped jalapeno and about 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, obviously because we like a little kick....also added 1/2 of a small turnip because it's my favorite veggie in soup. All in all, this is simple and simply good!

Loved this recipe. So easy with the leftovers in the fridge and pantry. I had to make a few changes it was too chilly to go the store. Instead of chicken broth I used turkey broth, had to leave out the leeks, not part of our Thanksgiving menu so I didn't have any left over. It was so easy and satisfying. Everyone enjoyed it.

I tweaked this a bit and omitted the peas, because I really don't like peas. I also added way more chicken stock, an extra carton and the full 12 oz bag of noodles. It's quite yummy!

My husband and I thought this was pretty good. Normally I don't like to review recipes where I deviate from the original but in this case I wanted soup and had to adjust to what I had on hand. Therefore, I used a pound of ground turkey instead of fresh turkey and corn in place of the peas. I also added one chopped zucchini to the mix. I do think it would be better with fresh cooked chicken or turkey so will probably try it that way next time, but all in all, it was very good and quite flavorful.

This was a very tasty dish! This was the first time I cooked with leeks (will be doing that again. It reminded my husband of Chicken Noodle Soup, but is definitely on the do-again list. I want to try it again with a rotisserie chicken like some of the other reviewers have done; it should be good.

OMG this was so good. Made the recipe as shown without measuring anything very carefully. I did make this from homemade turkey stock and added one can of chicken stock, so approximately 10 cups of liquid. Replacing leeks with onions is NOT the same kind of soup, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are trying to make THIS recipe.

Easy and Delicious!! I used Angel Hair Pasta to lighten it up a bit but scrumptious nevertheless. Thanks Robin
