I don't know why the instructions aren't given here, but until Foodnetwork reposts them you can find them at rachel ray's website: www.rachaelray.com/recipe.php?recipe_id=1177

The first time I made this, I followed the recipe & everyone loved it. This time, I had leftover turkey breast that I'd smoked on the Weber grill for New Years day Bowl game munching. I'd also saved 2 poblanos I roasted on the grill the same day which I substituted for the jalapenos. I cubed the turkey breast & sliced the turkey skin and poblanos into little strips. The smoky flavor from the turkey skin was awesome and the poblanos were great for flavor and texture. I added 1 cup of turkey gravy mix and could've added more. We served it with fresh guacamole & homemade corn tortilla chips sprinkled with garlic salt & cumin powder. Garnished with avacado slices, sour cream & chopped cilantro. I want to try this with carnitas someday.

Great way to finish off leftovers & it tastes even better after sitting for a day in the fridge.

We had leftover turkey from Christmas in the freezer (This is March. We were ready to throw it out but looked over the Foodnetwork site to see if there might be a recipe for it. This one was perfect. Since the turkey was from the freezer we didn't try the 30 min schedule - we prepared it in advance and let the turkey baste in the flavors for a couple of hours on warm. We also added a couple of Anaheim peppers to it as well. We have had excellent posole in Santa Fe and other trips to the south west - This is as good as any we have had.

    Thanks Rachel....

I've made this several times and my family loves it, and it's just as good made with pork or chicken.
