This is so good. If I changed anything it would only be to add more orange peel and cloves. Even better the longer it steeps!

I work in the dietary dept in our local hospital, and a few years ago I found this recipe and prepared it for an administration Christmas party. It was such a hit, it is now requested for almost every holiday meeting, luncheon or reception we have here . Thank you, Emeril, for such a wonderful, warming holiday beverage!

Made this Christmas evening to go along with our cookies for dessert. Made it with a few less cloves as I'm not a huge fan and with some nice dark Sumatran coffee. I'm a coffee snob too and thought this was deep and rich with lots of underlying notes. This is going to be a new Christmas coffee tradition!

I made a batch and put in my pretty thermos carraffe for Christmas. Had to refill it before the guests arrived because my family drank it down!

This was very tasty. Next time we will try adding some kalua or baileys for a kick. I made a half recipe and it was just enough for 2 large cups of cocoa. Thanks for the great recipe!!

This was just so-so for me and I can't quite put my finger on why. I'll make it again but I'll play around with the recipe. Probably omit the orange peel and cloves and add vanilla syrup or maybe some Kahlua. I'm just kind of a coffee snob and this had too much going on.

I made this for me and my husband and we both loved it! The strong coffee balances out the sweetness of the chocolate mixture. It's a perfect holiday drink and so easy to make. Thanks Emeril!
