Ok so fisrt I tried it with the unsweetened chocolate and they were ok???
But then I tried them with just regular sweet chocolate and they were a huge hit at my chocolate party.
Please recomend any other recipes to me thanks

I kept messing things up on the recepie. First, I used all unsweet chocolate, even in the icing, and totally forgot the mini chocolate chips. I also used too much creme de menthe. They ended up being fantastic anyway! Next time will use the correct about of liquor and maybe add more cream cheese because I adore cheese and couldn't really taste it.
For those who felt the mixtures were 'soupey' you must have been overzealous in pouring out the different layers. I know I was extremely careful in spreading each layer out thinly and slowly.

i ended spending about 20 bucks making these brownies because i didn't have any creme de menthe but they came out prettty good so i didn't mind. but they did taste a bit too much like listerine. and what the other people mentioned about it being difficult to layer it, well it was. but it was okay because the frosting covers it anyways.

These are so good. I read the recommendation to make sure to reserve more of the brownie mixture for the top layer - that worked well. I also wasn't paying attention and made 4 layers - brownie, mint, brownie, mint - that worked great!

not my favorite recipe. The brownie part was good, but didn't care for the cream cheese filling as much as I thought I would.

I thought this recipe was pretty good. My husband LOVED it. I will make a couple changes next time. I would use andies candies instead of the candy canes. I didn't like that the candy canes were so crunchy. I would also just drop the remaining 1/2 of the brownie batter by teaspooons on top of the mint filling. If you try spreading the remaining 1/2 of the batter, it does'nt spread well enough. Good with e bowl of vanilla ice cream!

Very good brownies. A little bit more effort to make (you dirty a few bowls but worth the effort. Makes a very festive looking brownie!
