Made these for work and everyone loved them. I could not find hazelnuts so used chopped pecans and they were still yummy. After I made the batter I refridgerated it so I could freshly bake them to take to different places during the holiday season. Going to bake more of the batter tonight, nothing like fresh cookies from the oven!

I have been searching forever for the best chocolate chip cookies. In the past, they've come out too thin, too thick, too crunchy, too cakey, etc. These are perfect!! My search is over. Thank you, Giada!

This cookie is FAB!! Everyone who tastes them loves them and wants me to make them again, and again, and again. It would be helpful, however, to know to easily husk the hazelnuts...

Cookies were amazing! I did cut down the chocolate chips but they're my family's favorite!

I find the cookies way too sweet so I cut down on both the sugars by half. otherwise they are super delicious and always a big hit!

You'll never get a better cookie. This recipe is extremely flexible. I couldn't find hazelnuts so I substituted with macadamia nuts. The little health bits gives the cookies an extremely interesting crackle. Next time I'm thinking about putting in white chocolate chips. My husband and his friends couldn't stop eating them and I was only left with three cookies in the end. A wonderful recipe!

My go-to cookie recipe. Sometimes I use other nuts, they always turn out great. I like to cut back on the sugar a bit. Friends thought I bought them at a bakery.

Very easy and delicious recipe! I used walnuts, chocolate chips, and toffee candy bars. Based on other reviewers, I went a bit shy on the full cup of white sugar and the cookies came out perfectly sweet and sinful. Recommend using a small cookie dough/ice cream scoop for uniform cookies that will indeed bake properly in 15 minutes.

This a good recipe but please know this is merely the Nestle Tollhouse recipe with the addition of toffee and oats. I would make this again.
