I used Bisquick, Buttermilk, added a few tablespoons of cold butter to the dry mix, extra cheese. Mine took a little longer in the oven. You will like these! So easy, I know Butter, Butter, but worth it.

Loved it! I used water instead of milk and used fresh pressed garlic and it wasn't over powering I will be making this again!

I used Bisquick and added a couple of dashes of garlic powder and salt to the flour, then mixed together with the other ingredients. Used milk instead of water. Love the butter mixture on top. These are very quick and very easy. I've made them a couple of times now and usually just throw them together just a few minutes before the rest of the meal is ready, they're that easy.

Wow!, no double Wow! No make that triple Wow! Like many others I used Milk in place of the Water and added a tad of Garlic Powder to the Biscuit Mix.
Since there are only my wife and I, I only made half a recipe just for a snack. I think we will be snacking on these a lot.

Add a 1/4 cup of butter, chopped into small cold chunks. Use a fork or pastry cutter to mince the butter into the biscuit mix. Then add the cheddar, dash of garlic powder and the milk to the batter. Even more like red lobsters - moister inside. For those of you asking for the biscuit mix recipe... I just assumed she meant store bought biscuit mix. I used Bisquick. If you want to make your own biscuit mix, see Alton Brown's recipe and add the cheddar and garlic to that one.

Just watched her make these on TV and she used milk instead of water. I will try the recipe, but think I will use milk for a better texture. They do sound good.
