I agree with the reviewer that made a few adjustments. This is a good, basic recipe to start from. To cut some of the fat, I used half olive oil and half butter, and substituted half and half for the cream.

I made just a few adjustments, and it was better than Jason's Deli (the OTHER best broccoli cheese soup that I've had. I added more chicken broth, more cheese (for a total of about 2 cups, used fresh broccoli, and added a lot more garlic (3Tbsp than it called for.

easy to make and really delicious...i added more chicken stock than called for. only thing i didn't love is it didn't reheat very well.
