I have been making chicken and rice for over 20 years, but this recipe is just too odd and the directions were really off. I will stick with my own recipe.

I loved this recipe--it was great! I'm latina and love that the Food Network had Daisy on board with them. When is her show coming back? I really miss it!

I used to watch her on PBS and her shows were wonderful!!!!!!!!! I live in Nevada, and there are many, many hispanic and latino families that live here that would enjoy her show.....only ONE PROBLEM, she comes on here at 6:30 a.m. on saturday....that is not the best time slot for her as people here sleep in on Saturday. You should move her up to a later time so that everyone will get a chance to see her show. I know this would make her show more popular if you put her in a better time slot...

I finally got the courage to do this recipe (made this many years ago with horrible results and I was pleasantly surprised! The rice was just a tad mushy though, but it had plenty of flavor. My husband couldn't stop raving about it...and it tasted even better the next day!! I will definitely be making arroz con pollo again. Thanks Daisy!!

My family loved this unique preparation of chicken with rice. Even the one non chicken lover in the group loved this dish. We had to go to a Latin American grocery store to buy 'some spices'. It was well worth the trip. It's great that you have someone introducing some genuinely new ideas for everyday cooking.

Daisy, you are an inspiration to all Latinos! It was about time the Food Network recognized your talents and gave you a show. I love not just your recipes, but your personality and your charisma! I wish you all the best, and I hope you get to stay on the Food Network and show everyone what real Latino cuisine is all about! My only request is... more Puertorrican recipes please!!
