I have made many of Giada's recipes and they are excellent, but I had trouble with this one because they didn't rise. The biscuits were flat cookies. Unfortunately, I am taking them to a potluck party and will pass them off as such. The flavor is still nice but a little greasy since they are flat.

Another of Giada's keepers and they taste great with all the cheese.. It is always nice to see a woman cooking on the Network that looks like Giada she is so feminine looking that it is sometimes difficult to concentrate on the redipe. I can understand why some women are upset with the way she dresses but male viewers don't mind; can't please everybody.

I really liked the flavor and texture of these biscuits and I would have rated them higher if they had risen a bit more. Not sure what the problem was, but the baking powder was new so that wasnt the issue. iI I had planned to use them as a sandwhich roll as she did for her show they would have been too thin As it wa s they were great for the side to go with my gumbo.

Made the biscuits today as I wanted to try them first before serving them tomorrow. Easy, to do; very moist, flavorful and tender. I will be making these tomorrow and serving with ham and a little mustard instead of the salmon and lemon butter.

Just watched the show and realized these biscuits would be perfect for the havarti and smoked salmon appetizer I had planned for tomorrow's Super Bowl game - in place of small toasts. They are delicious! Exactly as she said - crispy from the cornmeal but moist and soooo favorful wth the parmesan and green onions. She didn't actually chop her onions finely as the recipe said - I did, and I would continue to do it that way. NOTE: the baking time in this recipe is incorrect - she said 12-15 minutes or until golden brown for 12 large biscuits. I wanted smaller ones so I just started out with 6-8 minutes and increased as needed. I made over 2 dozen small ones, so plan accordingly with your baking time. Other than that, the recipe is right on! Keeper for sure!
