this was an amazing dish that was simple to make and a pleasure to eat. i made it for my father who, after having a heart attack, is struggling to find healthier foods that he enjoys. in doing so, i omitted the butter and used olive oil instead (it's mentioned as an option anyway and i used whole wheat linguini. "fake salt" (potassium chloride also added the desired saltiness that he craves. my husband even keeps begging me to make this again!

Very easy and excellant! Replaced clams with 2 cans of clams and added 1 bottle of clam juice in place of water. Left overs were great too. A new family favorite, even my daughter like it.

Easy and delicious with pasta, but try this simple clam recipe alone. I have my own great clam recipe, but this is now my favorite!

It was an easy recipe for a novice chef, such as myself, to follow. My friends were surprised that it tasted so good. But, it was a bit bland, easily fixed with more salt, and 6 cloves of garlic may have been to much, unless you're trying to keep the vampires away.
Basically, it was easy and yummy.
