I followed this recipe, and it was EXCELLENT! My husband loved the bursting flavors. I added whole garlic, the flavors flowed well together. I did not let the asparagus cook the entire 30 minutes. I only cooked it for 15 minutes. The asparagus had a nice crunch, yet it was very tender.

Tried this instead of grilling as I usually do. I wish I had read the reviews first. They were inedible when I followed the time/temp instructions given. I'll try again with a MUCH shorter cook time.

Don't know what I did wrong, but this is awful.

If I had I wouldn't have cooked the asparagus so long. Too soft and mushy. I agree 10-15 min. would probably have been plenty long.

I often make roasted asparagus and while the recipe is standard and will yield good results, the cooking time is off. Roasted asparagus should be cooked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. If you leave it in as long as this recipe suggests you will not get a good result.

I will try these again and they should be quite yummy!

But 400 and/or 25 30 minutes is not right. Mine came out overcooked and scallions were too crisp to even tie bundles.
    Watch closely and adjust something!

I often grill asparagus but i wanted to fix some for easter and was not going to be using the grill. I made them by this recipe and they were great !! I didn't cook them as long as it said , I just kept an eye on them and took them out when they looked ready. was a great addition to my easter lunch !! Susan from aberdeen

This is a good simple way to prepare asparagus, but even 20 minutes is way too long, let alone 25-30 minutes. I ruined a whole batch following this recipe.

This is how I've always made my asparagus (without the scallions, it's the only way my daughter will eat it. I do think, however, that the 25-30 minute time for cooking is too long. I give mine only about 15 minutes.
