Oh my god... honey on ice cream??? /puke That's the nastiest thing I've ever seen in a recipe. What happened to a regular sundae? With the hot fudge? Ugh, Rachael, please stop ruining old favorites. Not everything should be redone into a mockery of cooking.

I apologize to those who read this looking for a real review of the food in question. We are supposed to rate the food here not criticize Rachael Ray as a TV personality; she has her own website if you feel the need to express your opinion about her personality or her cooking. Emails that have no relation the reviewing the food should be deleted, including mine. Please use this rating system for what is intended and not as a message board.

This was boring and why should it be on as a recipe? I wish mrs ray ray would bake so maybe she would burn.

There are only three reasons she ever would have ever thought this recipe was a good idea.

Reason 1: She believes that her fan base is so stupid that they cannot master the concept of putting toppings on ice cream without instructions from her. Judging from some of the reviews here she may actually be correct about that.

Reason 2: she has been herbally pretreating glaucoma. Hey if an apple a day can keep the doctor away imagine what this can do for you- and GUYS it's so verdant!

Reason 3: she never actually tried this recipe herself before pulling it out of her butt, but thought that it sounded good.

Does anyone know what happens to peanut butter when you melt it in the microwave?- as it melts it seperates- even if you attempt to mix it back up commerical peanut butter from the 'regular old grocery store' will still separate. What this means to this "recipe" is that you end up with a topping that is overly oily yet strangely chunky. Why would anyone want to eat oily ice cream?. This makes about as much sense as frying bacon in EVOO. Total waste of time and good ice cream.

    Dear God,
What will RayRay think of next?? The peanut butter looked like runny baby diarrhea...eww gross. And then of course the honey added a whole new element of nastiness to the recipe.

I think this would be better without the chunky peanut butter and the nut topping. And, I'll skip the honey next time, and the whipped cream. Maybe, I will just eat a banana for dessert instead.

This is just another idea for a banana split, but the flavors are wonderful! Thanks to Rachael, I have added much more creativity to my cooking now.
