This is a great desert for those who love a 'decadant' kind of tasting desert....a great company dish . . . I would definitely put this desert in the category of "comfort food." Very easy.

I did not do the crust, because I had norhing in the house to do it with. However, I would have done a graham cracker crust instead, and will next time. I used finely chopped walnuts, just because that is what seems to naturally go best with chocolate. I did not use the zest...didn't make sense to me. I did not add white sugar to the egg mixture because the mixture recipe was sweet enough with the brown sugar....glad I did....this is a very sweet recipe. I like the idea of adding the 'rum' extract and will give it a try. I loved it . . will make it again. . . especially for guests... Thank you.

I thought the recipe sounded good all except the zest. I put extra banana in it but like everything else with cooking it all depends on your personall taste. I thought it was pretty good. Not for everyday deserting but a definate bi-weekly treat. Definitely cool this dish for at least an hour before serving.

I did everything except the crust and peanuts. I used pecans instead and it was great. For the adults I added some rum to the custard

I didnt use a lot of lemon zest, used walnuts, apples and banana's... it came out ok. It's definitely anlot better eaten cold. I'll probably use a little bit of cinnamon next time.

i wasn't going to put lemon zest in mine, and i think i'll use walnuts instead of what looked like regular peanuts she used. i'll be sure to let you know how it comes out.

This was not good at all. I didn't like the taste of the lemon zest at all. I also didn't like the hot banana's. Sorry. It was not good.
