All I could say was Wow!!!!!. I knew why she said on this episode she would "make love to her Tater!" during the commercial break.

This was such a great recipe and I will definitely make it again. We decided to cut some fat and use turkey bacon and a mix of cream/skim milk. It still tasted hearty and delicious. I would say the next time I make it I will end up using half the bacon the recipe calls for. It was a bit overwhelming, just way too much. Overall great dish.

I read the reviews and it looks like everyone LOVED this recipe, but i can't imagine using that much bacon. Certainly isn't figure friendly...

I've used this sauce on more than potatoes. It works well with any beef and pork dish.

These are wonderful, but I'm a total sucker for potatoes. My husband raved about them as well. I did chop up some green onions and added them on top. I would make this again.

I happened to have Brandy on hand left over from last year's fruitcake. My husband loves baked potatoes. I thought this would be a great addition and boy was it! I used black pepper instead of the green peppercorns and it was delicious. I'm going to try it on salmon and steak also. Way to go Paula!

Another winner from Paula, indeed!!! This recipe is great for an evening when you really don't want a multi-course meal, but just some really wholesome comfort food. It's fantastic! I don't usually like to use liquor in my cooking because sometimes you get a funny whangy taste. Paula's demonstration about lighting it up and burning off the alcohol worked perfectly! Great flavor without the icky alcohol bite.

Furthermore, I had one left over. I put it in a Rubbermaid container and microwaved it a work the next day. It was every bit as good as the night before!

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great!
